What to expect on Sunday

When visiting St Peter’s, you can expect to be treated as part of our community, not an outsider. Our services are mixture of singing, Bible readings, prayers and a message. There are two services on Sundays:

As of August 2019 our services changed  to –

  • 9am – a traditional service which uses the Anglican Prayer Book. Usually a service of Holy Communion except the 3rd Sunday of the month which will be a Morning Prayer type service which allows for more time in worship and prayer. The service is followed by morning tea.
  • 4.30pm – this is a contemporary, interactive and intergenerational service. We meet in the Hall starting with a cuppa, which allows for a more relaxed and flexible occasion. Holy Communion will be part of the service on the 3rd Sunday of the month only.

As these changes are still in the germination phase please bear with us as to how the services will  function!

On special occasions we have a combined service. Check the Events calendar for more details.
